- A past due daycare bill was paid for a domestic violence survivor with 2 children.
- Provide a Food Pantry in need of food for Thanksgiving (8 turkeys and 100 canned items)
- A woman and her disabled husband found themselves homeless. After moving from their car to temporary housing, she managed to find an apartment. Unable to provide the funds on the day she was signing the rental agreement, we paid the security deposit.
- A woman who was laid off, required assistance to fund one-week in temporary housing to keep her out of her car. Her wireless phone is mandatory for her job. We covered both.
- An elderly woman was past due on her electric bill. We paid it to avoid cancellation.
- A family with 6 children experienced unemployment. During this time, they received an exorbitant water bill draining any financial reserve they had due to an unknown water leak. We covered the 2 months past due as well as the past due electric bill to avoid cancellation of services.
- 25-year-old male, supporting his 14 & 16-year-old brothers; Father is deceased. Mother has left. His car, an imperative for transportation to work and school, was inoperable. With the help of the owner of a garage, we were able to provide the funds to fix his vehicle.
- Paid 1-months rent for a woman who has been out of work for 2 months, about to be evicted.
- A family of 5. House they were renting foreclosed, leaving them homeless. We paid the fist 3 weeks for temporary housing.
- A 76 yr. old female with a brain tumor and glaucoma, who suffers from severe dental challenges. Her teeth have been taken care of, and she now exhibits pain free oral health.
- A 30-year-old woman, married with a 9-year-old daughter and pregnant with a son. Both working, but her work visa expired so they fired her. Her pregnancy is very high risk, receiving shots (for preterm labor) weekly. The hospital is trying to help her with the expense. Her husband is working construction but giving him less and fewer hours. FiksOne covered the electric bill and rent for one month, while they catch up.
- Helped to orchestrate 2 Free used cars to two disabled veterans in need.
- A woman who adopted at risk children with health conditions that rely on machines keeps them healthy and alive. She was contacted by an electric company who stated she owed $1,800 for an error on their part. She attempted to work out a payment plan but they refused. FiksOne paid $1,000 and allowed her to keep her electricity from being disconnected.
